one would only have to read the description:

XLR8 Performance’s Engine Mounts were engineered with longevity, performance and value in mind. Many Acura enthusiasts are having issues with broken motor mounts. These mounts are heavy duty mild steel mounts that have been coated with a satin black finish and improved polyurethane bushings that range in firmness. Controlling the durometer of the polyurethane inserts minimizes engine movement. We offer 3 different durometers of inserts, which are available at no additional cost. When ordering, specify whether you want: Street (62A) or Strip (75A) polyurethane inserts. The polyurethane inserts also have a lifetime warranty.

Motor mounts are rubber.
when accelerating, the engine torques or moves.
these rubber mounts can tear.

when they tear, they can cause vibrations inside the cabin.
since the engine is moving MORE than normal, it can rip other mounts causing other kinds of damage.

by changing out to a stiffer mount, you will feel the engines vibrations MORE.

The bushings collapsed on the XLR8 mounts after 7k miles, I just havent had the time to pull them out of my car (plus I havent driven it since May). Another member had the same issue in an even shorter amount of time, but he sold his car shortly thereafter. The side mount didnt line up with the holes on the frame rail, so I had to drill them out.

OEM mounts arent much better for me either, though theyd typically last about 30k. But once I began to fill them with polyurethane, they began to last longer then that.
