Window & Locks

2001 CL Type-S

Hey guys sorry if this was brought up before... Sometimes the driver side window has trouble getting back up. It gets stuck half way and i have to pull it up with my hands while trying to roll it up. Is there an easy/cheap fix? maybe the motor is going bad?

My passenger side lock wont work with the alarm or open/close with lock latch. it has to be opened with key or from the inside by hand. the driver side lock sometimes locks itself and i get stuck outside of my car. when it is stuck, i hit unlock with alarm and the lock clicks up half way and goes back down then i have to open the door with the key and have to twist really hard.

anyone know how to fix these minor and very annoying issues?

1st issue sounds like the motor is going bad. A simple fix is to wipe silicone inside the rubber track that guides the sides of the window. Roll down the window, clean out the rubber window track with soap and water then spritz some silicone lubricant on a q-tip and wipe it up and down the track.
