but i got it checked from my mechanic when i bought it and he said the engine is perfect so is the suspension. Out of any guess, could it be the MOUNTS?

Could be a brake pad being pushed out of the way. Does it do it every time you start or only if you backed up. then went ahead like baking out of a parking spot?

Might also try slightly dragging the brake and see if that stops the noise.

It does it most of the time when i start but most of the time....I am thinking there is some issue with the break pads maybe they are the not the best quality, maybe time for a replacement for some good ones

Do you feel a hesitation or a shift from the engine?

So, it's just 1 tick when you hit the gas? It's not multiple ticks like tick tick tick . . . I'd say it's something in the suspension or brakes. Something shifts everytime you hit the gas. It could be a loose bolt underneath. I'd give everything a good look down.

YES! Absofuckinglutely! same shite happened to me last year. Changed the mounts ~ nothing. Had joints looked at ~ no problems. Took front wheels off...poked around and recreated the exact annoying ass ping noise but flicking a thin metal guard on the rotor. Apparently, that little piece(sorry 4 the crap description...) gets touched in a way it doesnt like and pings at you because of it(keep in mind it had aftermarket pads and rotors). So...yeah, good luck I just drove on it until I needed brakes, changed them and the noise went away...

I had the same issue, it was a electic little gadget on the fire wall. Forgot what it was. It makes noise, especially when it is cold outside. Really bad in the low single digits. not an issue, but now I have one coming from under the car near the rear wheel. Fuel pump???hope not.
