I have a 2001 CL which has 123k on it. I don't have any problem with headlights but I am wondering when the bulbs are replaced. If I put new bulbs in, do they make brighter than now?

stock is 4300k. i have 6000k in my cl and tl and love them, shines a nice white on the road and lights up the signs better. unless u want something brighter u dont have to replace them until one goes out or starts turning pink/purple. replacing ur old ones with a new set will be brighter.

 

I saw the replace one on the sponsor's black market. It is a 5000k and much cheaper then OEM ones. Many Acurazine members buy the company's HID kit.

My headlight is shiny blue at the first 1 minutes and then turns to yellowish.

4300k has the most effective light output out of all the bulbs. Anything higher and your just looking at colors. The highest Id go is 5000k.

 

4300 is the whitest according to the computer or what ever they use to decide what color is what. in my eyes 6k is brighter than my stock

 

Thats because of the color. It appears brighter, when in reality it isnt.

If you want really bright headlights, get some projectors, 55w ballasts and Phillips DL50 bulbs. It will cost you over $500 not including the work, but its the brightest you can get.

 

x2 on the projectors. making some for my tl, but have put the project on hold for a long long time bc of my cl project

 

I wouldnt go with anything higer than 5000k either. 5000k is still white and bright anything over too blue

I should be done with them next weekend hopefully. The shrouds I had wont work, so Im waiting for my new ones to come in.
