Weird shifting.

Hey guys whats up. Just bougt my 01 Cl-s a month ago and I am noticing a little weirdness on the shifting from 2nd to 3rd, the rps will go up to bout 3200 under easy driving conditions and then will take a few seconds to shift, is this the start of tranny hell? It only does it every once in a while and doesnt really shift hard. Although it has 157582 miles it still gets it with the best of them. Raced a turbo VW hatchback and beat him a newer model one, so i am pretty happy with the performance for the miles. Also beat a 2007 civic si mugen. But anyways can anyone give me any good feedback. Oh and when i do get on it it shifts normal I think. Oh and what about the down shifting do the rpms change when you are slowing down and the car is down shifting? I always have owned manuals, sorry if the questions are dumb to you guys.
