yes I have searched this. when I start my car in the morning it doesnt matter if its 80 degrees or 50 degrees out, the car starts at 1k then goes down to a little below 500 rpm, then continues to bounce up and down for about 3 min. if i dont wait as soon as i hit a red light or stop sign it keeps doing that, like its almost gonna stall. any ideas?? Thanks ahead guys!

Bad IAC valve. Replace it. DIY with pics in the FAQ.

 

I really have No idea what it could be, should I take it to my dealership and see what they say?

 

Thanks Fuzzy! One more quick question, do you guys let your car warm up before you drive it? it seems like if i let it warm up for a few minutes it works fine

 

I let mine warm up. engine/trans seems to drive better with it warmed up.

 

I give it 30 seconds. No more, its just a waste of gas. I wont take it above 3k rpms until its fully warmed up though.
