water coming through door

whenever it rains im getting water coming through the speaker mesh a small puddle sitting on that litte ledge right below the speaker. the speaker also gets wet so in turn it sucks to listen to music when it rains. its only on passenger side. before i take the panel off, what should i be looking for? i understand there is a rain drainage "lane" or something for water to exit under the door. i suppose its coming through somewhere around the side mirror. thanks

i did have new speakers installed but that was over a year ago, this problem has only been going on for about 4 months or so. plus like i said its only passenger side

Theres weather stripping around the window. Its called the run channel. Theres also a strip along the bottom of the window. Look at those.

Check all of the seals on the door for holes or slits. If you find any then they could be the source. It cant hurt to replace the gaskets if they are damaged.

Remove the inner door panel then have someone with a hose (no spray nozzle) run water around the window and see where it's coming in.

Look at the bottom of the door panel. There are several slits that allow water to run out. Make sure they are cleared.
