Exclamation underbody damage?

i was ran off the road today in my 01 CL
when i jumped the kirb it sounded so bad
when i got back on the road i stopped and looked underneath (no damage to body of car) What should i look for? no fluids were leaking, but the plastic covering the radatior was scratched and the tires on the side that hit have large bumps where the rubber hit. im lucky it still drives straight and my axels were ok. QUESTION WAS what else should i look for?

and 2nd question is the officer told me since I was RAN off the road by a wreckless driver that all he can do is fill out a report, EVEN THOUGH I GOT THE TAG NUMBER of the truck. he said since the car never made contact with mine it wasnt a hit and run or property damage he wasnt a suspect because i chose to drive off the road damaging my car to avoid a potential wreck.
DOES THAT MAKE SENCE TO ANYONE>? bec i dont understand

well every city and state have different laws...but how you described and what he said makes sense to me...its not a hit and run because he did not strike your vehicle...the officer is correct in stating you chose...rightfully so to avoid the accident...in n.y.c. you could do the report as a one car accident with the contributing factor being avoiding other motor vehicle...but his info would not be listed on the report...also technically here you could do a complaint report in addition to accident if individual was aggressively driving/ "menancing" you with his vehicle...but its kind of a waste to do that report for something like this..basically goes nowhere and he won't get in trouble...but perhaps might help you with your insurance claim tho...for fault and deductable purposes...but sounds like to me that there was no damage so i hope you didn't file an accident report...

Sounds like you should of let him hit you, then totalled the car when you went off the road, then you could buy a 6spd!!! Thats kinda how I got my 6spd.

x2 and really needs a lift and not just some jackstands, so you can really look very closely at the underside (easier to move around and such)

then as said the alignment needs to be checked (it is not designed to be 4 wheeled like that), and the rest of the suspension needs to be inspected closely, (preferably off the ground)

From what you are saying looks like angle against curb was fairly low so suspension should be fine. You probably hit it with part of the frame - Might sound ugly but not realy dangerous
