problems with clutch need help please

hi every1, any help will be thanksful,, this is my story i m going to buy a honda civic 99 120xxx miles ,,, but there is a little problem on the car The clutch does make a little ticking noise. i was told that the clutch release bearing is loose, is this a big problem? should i buy this car,, ,,,,,could the noise be something really bad? please help

if it is release bearing issue, you will need entire clutch job, however it may not fail totally for another 2 years. Definately use this as an levrage in negotiating price

I agree with celynka.
you will need an entire clutch job to fix it but it might hold for another 2 years.
i had the same problem on my car and once i got my clutch replaced with a new release bearing, no more ticking noise
but the ticking noise stops when you press the clutch right?

yeah, iggie, the ticking stops when i press the clutch right.. ,, thank you guys, ,, ill buy that car i like it anyways
