Have a '01 CLS AT with 75K miles or so. Tranny was replaced last year at 68k miles.

I just started to notice some jerking symptoms, but not on the 2 - 3 upshift but rather on a downshift from freeway cruising speeds. Here's a rough desciption.

- Cruising on freeway, 60-80 mph, flat road surface, about 2k rpms.
- When accelerating hard to pass, tranny will "seem" to downshift, but maybe more than 1 gear. rpms jump to 4k or more rpm, jerk, then drop to something like 3k rpm and the car accelerates.
- Happens about 1 out of every 3 to 4 times I do this on the freeway.

Any thoughts? Still under extended warranty so debating if I should take it to the dealer now or wait until it is more pronounced.
