Just picked me up a CLS6 Anthricate for 8k! Great car...

ok,
How far is the sunroof supposed to go? Is it supposed to go far back as the inside cover can go? mine seems like it stops 3/4 of the way back.

 

same here. i was like WTF. then i checked my tl and it goes way further back than the cl.

 

Thats normal. Its posted in the FAQs. The roof itself isnt long enough, so where is the glass going to go? Hence the reason I only use the tilt feature.

No problem. The FAQ has ALOT of good info in it. You should check it out first if you have questions. If you still have questions, you can *try* to search but that doesnt always work properly.

I bought with 84.312 on the odo. I'm very happy with the buy. Only downside is that the car has a bit of heat damage since it was in Arizona. The leather split a little and its VERY hard. Other than that I love it!

 

BTW if you don't like the HISSING noise coming from the sunroof when going past 40-50mph you can remove the diffuser (the black piece the protrudes out of the car when the sunroof opens) it'll VOID the hisssssing noise and make the sunroof MUCH more enjoyable and will not screw up you seals or anything like that.

open the sunroof and remove the two little screws that hold the 2 brackets on and DONE.

Just to give u a lil pointer... everyone who's removed it says it's way better.

 

I held my finger down on the diffuser and ill take the hissing noise over the loud hum noise. It sound like u removed the intake resonater, and that humm u here outside is now inside and really loud

 

I took it off, sounds good
