As title states, with a\c on will be driving with say rpms around 2500 , when slowing down, to a stop rpms will drop to 250, engine starts to shake like it wants to die, for say a second then will climb back up to 750 rpms ... only with a\c on... any ideas??

how's your alternator, battery, idle air control valve?

 

have not checked battery/ alternator, plan on cleaning iacv...
seems to happen when there is a load on engine, when the compressor kicks in , now that I think about it...

 

yup hence the battery/ alternator check


also check your all your grounds.

clean idle air control valve. that will fix the issue if not, it will need to be replaced
