I'm buying the RonJon CL lip kit for my 03 CLS. I was wondering if anyone knows about how much it would cost to get it painted & installed. So if anyone has this on there car or works at a body shop could give me an estimate on what it should cost so I know how much I'm gonna spend and so I can make sure nobodys gonna try to rip me off. You know how those body shop guys are especially when your paying cash.

But it all depends honestly. Do you want an exact match? Are they installing it? Are they just spraying it with the stock color and thats it? Etc.

but anywhere from 300-600 depending on car color and condition. u can install it yourself. but for installation about another $100 or so. they might even do it for u if u leave the car so they can color match it perfectly. just write down the mileage, sometimes they like to take ppls cars on test drives and what not.YES, ive seen it done

^nope. id get stopped right at the gate. it is fun scarying(sp?) he shit out of ppl in the parking lot.

 

so how big is the parking lot, is it big enough that you can kinda hide, and come screaming at people, then slam on brakes with the lights and siren going when they happen to be walking in, so it is kinda like a drug bust or something (it be no different then how they treat the cars)

Ya I know this doesnt belong in the problems and fixes but I didnt know where else to put it. My CLS is the factory anthracite gray. Does anyone know how hard it is to install? I have swapped out bumpers before but I have never messed with a lip kit. So I was wondering if its worth paying the extra monet to have them install it or if I should give it shot. Thanks guys

 

might be worth it to contact rondog (owner on RonJon) then, but i don't think it be much harder to attach then what a factury lip (if you guys had one ) would be, since RonJon likes to make stuff that is custom-fitted to our cars
