I used the search function, but couldn't find a result. I have a 2001 Acura CL-S and I am wanting to paint my rims, but to do so I need to jack up my car. My jack in my car won't come out for some reason. I turned the little ring on the jack clockwise and counterclockwise, but the thing won't turn. Am I doing it right?

 

turn the screw handle to collapse it all the way down and it will come out. turn it left to make it lower, right to make it raise up

 

And if that still don't work take a hammer or rubber mallet to it with a towel over it & bang it. A few good whacks & it should pop loose.
