Can someone help me troubleshoot or find another way to get my keyless entry working on my CLS-02? I called the dealership and they are asking $112 to replace it!!

I still have my remote, I changed the battery with a 3V Energizer C2024 (can't remember the exact number but it was the same one as the original), and still didn't work... no light. Suggestions?

 

Looks like your remote is a toast. Try dissasembling it and check battery power connector . Remote serial is permanent so battery disconnection wont erase anything ... but your problem looks like remote itself. Get it on ebay - these run between 20-40 bucks - and programm yourself.
