Randomly Stalling

Ok, SO I've searched this Site, Google and called the dealer and have no Idea WTF is the deal.
So for no reason with no forewarning my 01 CL-S Auto will stall out. Today it did it on the Highway. I was stopped tho when it happened and it took a few to get her back up and going. No Check Engine light or power loss.

Any Ideas would be realy appreciated. Thank

It controls the fuel pump. They dont just completely stop working. They are temperamental. Next time it happens and the car wont start again, turn the key to ON (dont start it) and listen for the fuel pump. It would be a low humming noise coming from your trunk area. If you dont hear it, its definitely your Main Relay. Its located under the dash on the drivers side.

Can someone tell me EXACTLY where the main fuel relay is located? Do I need any tools?
I know it is under the dash on the drivers side but beyond that? Just picked a new one up at the local auto parts store after car wouldn't start after sitting in 100+ heat in South TX for the day...
Thanks for your help.

You need a 10mm wrench unless you can manage to get it off the bracket.

Lay on your back on the floor looking up at the dash. It will be tucked up on the right side (above the dead pedal) along the fender side of the car, not the firewall. If I had a picture of it Id post it, but I dont.

Trying to get the relay off the bracket is damn near impossible. You're better off unbolting the bracket from the car and bringing the entire thing down as one unit.

Civicdrivr,
Thanks for the help - That was a real pain in the ass getting that bracket off - I used an open-end wrench to get it off the the racket to put it back on. Also, the prior owner had an aftermarket alarm installed and the wiring is crap and all tucked up in the same area.
You seem to know a lot about these cars - I was thinking about putting a cold-air intake on it....thought?

I know a few things, but I dont know everything. Id personally go with a Comptech Icebox. I have one and I love it. It gives the most power, looks OEM, and isnt loud as most open-element filters.
