I fuel pump, battery spark plugs and ignition coils in 2001 cl then drove the car and it died. Now the car won't start. Check engine light is not on of course but getting P1739 code. Let me back track in January then car cutoff and the check engine light came on. It started up so I drove around over 75 miles then stopped to get gas and the car died had to get towed home. So the first thing I got was codes P1739, P1399, P0304, P0302, and P0301. Replaced fuel pump and battery first. Then spark plugs and ignition coils at which time the car started. Only left with P1739. So need help in getting car to start. Plan to replace the 3rd clutch pressure switch tomorrow. Any suggestions to help get my car running? Could it be a bad alternator, EGR needs cleaning/replacing?

 

usually with random things it's an EGR cleaning that needs to take place. Your car should be able to start with transmission related codes.

I reiterate my sentiments about consolidating threads here as well...
