Overheating, radiator fan running 10+ mins

Yes ive used the search function and google, and have read topics about the fan temp sensor A and main cooling fan senor, radiator temp sensor etc then i read well this is for premium model not type S and one guys says do this then another says do that, so Im really confused on what I need to replace or do......

85% of the time driving temp is fine, but at times it creep up to 3/4 hot, usually ill blast the heat and be unbearable for a min and it goes right back down. after parking my fan will go on for an extended amount of time. the fan issue has been going on for about a month or two, where as my overheating issues just started a week ago. thank you for your help!

I'm assuming coolant levels are good? Change out the radiator cap too while you're at it.

^each case is different. this means if your car is over heating, it may be different than his case.

please fill us in on the details on what your car is doing, and maybe we can help trouble shoot it with you

I'm new to AZ and my 03 CLS auto once had the fan run for a long time. So when i came across this thread I read it for info purpose. My car hasn't done this since the one time but I would like to know the fix in case it does.

I appreciate your response though!
