Question New Guy question

About one week ago I was driving on the freeway and went to shift from third to fourth. The car didn't shift it just acted like it was in netural. I tried gears 1 thru 4 and the same thing the car just reved up. I turned off the car for about 45 seconds turned it back on and has been driving like nothing ever happened. This is my first Acura so I have no idea.

SS = Sport Shift for automatics...you need not worry since you have a 6spd

That doesn't make sense that your car didn't shift...only the operator shifts the stick into gear.

-Do you think you might have missed a shift...tried throwing it in gear but accidentally left in neutral and you accidentally revved up the RPMs? Thats what it sounds like to me. I've done that plenty of times in my MT cars that I used to own. It freaked me out and I thought something was wrong.

EDIT: Or maybe your clutch is going out...These are just hypothesized guesses.
