Need help with a bad idle / stutter
So I own a 2001 Acura cl type s and about a week ago I switched my spark plugs and a month before replaced my coil packs thinking that my car would stop throwing misfire codes which it didn't there has been a really bad stutter while driving or at idol (sounds like misfire but isn't ) I am going to try to replace the map sensor hopefully that is what is wrong but if anyone could give me some pointers also I have to take it to get emissions done today wish me luck

Burning Brakes
Hi Logan, welcome! The engine requires 3 things to run: air, fuel and a (well timed) spark.
Are you getting misfire codes? if so, do you know if the misfire is random or a specific cylinder? if specific cylinder, you may want to reinspect the plug / coil for that cylinder. I doubt this to be the case though.
If no misfire codes and random: I'd check the EGR passages they are often overlooked and tend to get clogged creating issues.

Is there a part number for that gasket around the EGR ports? I've got a very rough idle issue that started all of a sudden and the car hasn't set any codes, which seems off since you'd think idling that rough and stalling would generate something.

Update: things just went from bad to worse. Went to pull it into the garage a few minutes ago and now all it will do is idle very roughly around 400RPM. No response from the gas pedal. I was barely able to limp it into the garage. Still no codes. Might be more than some clogged EGR ports....

I was able to pump the accelerator enough to get it above 1500-2000 rpm where it seemed to run happily. But when I Let off the gas it dropped down to around 500 and then stalled. Is there a test for the IAC?

Update: I didn't have the time to pull the IAC valve so I just had it towed to the shop that did the water pump and timing belt a couple months ago. Turns out the timing belt had skipped a couple of teeth. I'm assuming someone didn't tighten something to spec when they put on the new belt. After lots of apologies and a re-do of the timing belt job, the car is running fine now. At least it didn't do any other damage and they stood by their work. Could have been a lot worse.
