I woke up this morning and started my car and got in and the CEL was on and Idling and driving like a POS so I went to my mechanic and he scanned it and found 1 3 6 misfire is it possible that the three coils just went bad on me ? or more likely another issue?

oh and he reset the CEL and it came back the same

 

Swap the coils to the 2, 4 and 5 cylinders and see if the code follows the coils.

 

WTF 3 ppl have same problem at the same time ? weather changes affect our car or WTF ? seriously

 

switch the coils and it moved so IM going to change all 6 but it seems odd that it would be fine one day and mis fire on 3! cylinders the next

 

Try plugs first; they're cheaper! I had a misfire issue and it was my plugs. Just make sure to get NGK's. That was my problem. Aftermarket isn't the way to go when it comes to plugs.

 

Arent 1,3 and 6 on the same bank?
Usually a misfire will cause others to misfire thats why you get multiple codes.

i got the same problem but it says all six cylinders are miss fireing whats should i do

 

haha I just got misfiring CEL too. Random Misfire + 1, 4, 5.
