j32a2 headers what is different btwn auto and 6m

I see all these OBX and other knock off headers for sale online. Most are for the automatics. What is the big difference between the two and can you modify auto headers to fit the 6speed?

The rear mount has a bend in it to clear the motor mount. Look at the header threads in the FAQ, you will see the difference. It's not something you can mod to fit. znot without bending & re-welding the header pipe.

however, you can use a 6 speed (manual) header on an automatic car.

I've searched the FAQ's for more specifics but didn't find any. I'm looking at options for turbo manifolds and most are for V6 accord applications.

Well, what else so you want to know? The only difference is 1 rear header pipe has a bend in it to clear the rear motor mount. That's it......

From your response, I was looking for a bent rear mount. I'm guessing you meant to say " there is a bend in the tube" to clear the mount. Now everything is clear. Thanks for the pictures.

Hey wilp99 how come you know so much about a car that doesn't exist in the UK if you live there? (From a fellow Brit living in Texas now) Now very first car I learnt to drive in was a mini clubman.
