Is this how my Rearview Mirror should be lighting up?

Only the right light on the Rearview mirror lights up when i press the Auto-dim button. Is this how it should be? Can someone with a 2nd gen CL check theirs for me? Thanks!

yeah it's the sensor which senses there are lights behind you (headlights) so it knows when to dim and undim, so don't cover it

and as you know the light is to tell you if the mirror is on or not
