So when I have someone in my passenger seat my side airbag light goes on and off....My dad was by a Acura dealer one day and asked what the problem was...and a mechanic said it meant that someone was sitting in the seat and wasn't wearing their seatbelt....Would that cause this problem....I had a loaf of bread in the seat the other day and it came on????

This happens to me to sometimes, often when someone is fucking around and not sitting properly. I just tell them to sit right and the light goes away, if you were to get into an accident with this light on the airbag wouldnt deploy but I'm sure you already realize that

 

if you had a small child in the seat, the airbag is disabled to prevent injuries. its normal, nothing for you to worry about. its in the FAQ also, i believe.

lol happened to me too... i was like no way i already got a problem... lol but yea as soon as the passenger moved his phat ass around it went off.

that's a weird lil thing tho for any car IMO

 

Yea I know what you mean compared to my 99 Toyota Solara that got totaled(reason why I now have my CL-S) there are a lot of weird things that this car does that I never had to deal with in my Toyota...Its like they made this car just so everything could mess up causing us to always have to fix it...even changing the headlights is difficult
