The car is great, quick and everything else. But it's doing something very odd. It only started recently, but whenever I start the car, or am driving, I get a random beeping noise, sounds like it's coming from the speakers but I can't really tell. No dash lights or anything comes on but it just beeps. When it does beep, it'll beep literally 15 times, then stop, then it'll do it again inconsistently. I have a 15 minute drive to work and this morning it did it 5 seperate times. But when I was on my way home, it only did it once, and that was right when I started the car. Does anyone have a solution or suggestion as to why it would be doing that? I'm completely new to the Acura scene, so any help at all would be appreciated. If needed, I can record a short video with my cell phone with the beeping noise tomorrow for all to hear. Thanks all in advance, great site!!

I can do either or. I guess I'd just use my droid phone to record the sound and let you guys hear it, to see if anyone can give me an idea of what it is, lol.

 

Yea, theres only a few beeps the car gives off, so Im guessing it may be a bad sensor, maybe the seat belt.

 

I sometimes get a beep when i turn the car off, idk what it is doesnt really bother me

 

^ Thats probably the keys being in the ignition when the door is open.

 

Nah its when i take the keys out and the door is still closed. Its like a screeching noise happens for like 5 seconds then goes away, i dont notice it all the time though

 

Okay so I was finally able to get a clip of the car doing the weird beeping noise, keep in mind, I started the car, and my seat belt was on as well, but it also does it when my seat belt is off. It's driving me mad!! lol

Im at a loss. That doesnt sound like any of the chimes Honda uses.

Track down where the noise is coming from. Have you or the previous owner installed anything?

 

I'm beginning to think it might be the "gps" or "guaranteed payment system" that's in it because my car is financed....I'm gonna call the car place tomorrow about it.
