12 quarts shitty brand

dude seriously go to Kragens Napa Autozone whatever your part store is they usually have a specials on oil conv ranges from 13-20 synthetic ranges from 20-35 comes with 5 quarts or a jug and the filter, CL takes 4.5 or so, so you will have some left over.

Search is your friend.

First thing you should do is pour a 2 liter bottle of VANILLA coke before the oil. This will clean out the harmful deposits your engine probably picked up over all those miles. The engine should run much smoother after. It has to be VANILLA though, regular coke probably wont work as good.

I have a 2003 CL-S with the J32A2 in it. I personally use a Honda oil filter, Honda oil pan plug crush washer, and either Castol or Pennzoil 5W-30 oil. I realize my oil cap says use 5W-20 but the 5W-30 is slightly thicker and will lead to better lubrication of engine parts, meaning longer engine life.

Engine was made for 5W-30, but 5W-20 gives little better MPG. Either will work great.

Honda oil filter isn't a great quality filter, but it obviously gets the job done. Oil brand isn't as important, as long as you use a well known name.

I've been through some diff phases on filters...Honda OEM, Bosch, Purolator Pure One...And I always use Valvoline, just a personal preference.
