Hey guys, new here... I'm having some problems with my 2001 Acura CL Type S. It is bogging down on the highway then all of a sudden it surges. It drives fine in town though.. I always put premium gas in. I had the codes read, and this is what I got:
P0171 Fuel System Too Lean (Bank 1)
P0131 HO2S-11 (Bank 1 Sensor 1) Circuit Low Input
P0122 Throttle Position Sensor Circuit Low Input
P0170 Fuel Metering B1 out of spec

Well several views just no answers... I've been looking around and it seems i need to replace the Throttle body. It seems for the type s the throttle position sensor is not a replaceable part. I have found several for the reg 3.2 cl, none for the type s. So I guess i need to replace the throttle body. I'm not really see very many throttle bodys out there either. Some on ebay....I'm seeing some that say for both cl and cl type s, but they shouldn't be the same because the sensor is not the same for both...Please help

 

I'd look for part numbers on oemacuraparts dot com and cross reference between the models...
but be patient and see if you can find it...I wouldn't throw parts at the problem yet, I bet it's documented SOMEWHERE on Acurazine...even if it's for another model.

Help! I am having almost the exact same issue. Did you ever fox your problems? I'm very curious because I do not want to replace a bunch of stuff I don't have the money or time to replace. Thank you.
