halogen bulb replacement

I searched but didn't come across anything. My right (passenger) halo bulb is out and i'm not sure how to replace it. There's a cover over where the bulb would be that says "warning high voltage can kill...bla bla" I think the bulb is inside that. There's a weird shaped bolt holding the cover on. I'm not sure what to do without maybe getting shocked to death. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Are you talking about the high beam bulbs or the HID bulbs? The high beam bulb is very straight forward. Twist the locking ring & out comes the bulb.

The HID is more complex & it may not even be the bulb. You need to swap the bulbs to each side. There some good info out there on this process if you check out the FAQ & do a little searching.

I searched for hours and can't find anything. My daytime running light work fine. But when i turn my lights on (the ones that glow blue), only the left one goes on. I think those are the HID lights. It's a different bulb, the ones closest to the sides of the car. Under the hood there's a box that has a warning on it, and i can't even see the bulb. I really don't want to take it in to ask. I've changed bulbs on my old civic fine.....i know they just twist out, but i just can't get at the HID bulb. I'm going to check the fuse today, but i don't think that's it because the daytime lights go on fine. If there is a thread on it, can someone give it to me, because apparently i'm an idiot and can't find it.

Look at the FAQ please.

The HID's you can not just buy in an auto store. These are very different from regular lights.
