I have a 2003 CL. Lately every time I get home after driving the car there's a very strong odor of gas coming from the right rear side of the car. I haven't seen any evidence of a leak on the garage floor and can't figure out why there's such a strong
gas odor but am concerned there may be a leak somewhere that isn't visible.
Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks for your feedback.

 

There's a gas recirulation device in that area. It may be bad. It's part of the emmissions system. The purge valve may be causing it also. Search for that.
