Front right break noise??

Lately i've been noticing a "swooshing" sound coming from my driver side front tire. I can really only hear it when im driving slowly past parked cars or a building on that side of my car..and only with the windows down. I'm not sure what it could be...warped rotor??

You would feel a warped rotor.

Did you ever find out what was causing that noise? I have the same thing. I just replaced the front rotors and pads and it didn't go away. it doesn't sound real bad and i can't hear it with the windows up but its just annoying.

I have the same thing only I would characterize it as a "hissing" sound but it only happens as you described it. Told the dealership about it and they said the brakes look fine but did not give me a definitive answer on why it's happening.

When I had the rear wheels on jacks the other day, I tried to spin them around and it was catching on something, prolly the pad...so it wouldnt make a complete turn on its own. Im assuming either the pad is messed up or its the rotor. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm thinking its one of my rear wheels also, since i changed out the front rotors and pads. I don't feel any vibration in the pedal while braking so I guess if the rear rotor is warped, its not that bad. who knows? thanks acura for the crappy brakes.

Its probably your E-Brake getting caught up. This happens over time for some reason, but you will only hear the sound probably when your driving in an enclosed area or driving near a wall. It sounds like a tsk tsk tsk sound, if thats it then you have to check to be sure that your ebrake isnt getting caught up. Hope you guys figure it out

Ya, even if its disengaged as far as it will go, that doesnt matter. There are 2 adjustments to the rear EBrakes. The first is under the rotor, there is a rubber grommet that you can take off, then you need to rotate the hole to the bottom of the rotor. If you shine a light inside, you will see a kinda sprocket that can be clicked with a flathead screw driver. You might need to play with that to loosen the Ebrake. If you cant see the sprocket, just disconnect the caliper by taking out the 2 bolts and then the 1 bolt that holds the brake line in place. This should be the easiest way to adjust the ebrake if you cant see the sprocket after taking out the rubber grommet.
