Angry Front end vibrates under braking

2001 CL TL Type S 110K

Had vibration under braking. Not noticeable at low speeds. Changed brake pads and had rotors machined. No difference. Replaced rotors with better equipment, changed pads again. No difference. Noticed track rods were worn, replaced inner and outer rods and roll bar links. No difference. There does not appear to be any play in the balljoints. Am I missing something here?

Any help greatly appreciated

Get the wheels balanced it will fix it otherwise i would change rotors doesnt matter if they were machined or not sometimes they warp that bad so they loose the balance at all.

Pedal feel is good. No fade. All stock. Not lowered.

I ve seen rust buildup on the hub - right between rotor and hub- mess up many brake jobs. It is a good idea to make hub surface shiny clean before you replace rotors

Did that as well! Cleaned the hubs before installing the new rotors. Alignment and rebalance today. We'll see what happens.

Thanks

Bent alloy wheels?

You may have bent alloy wheels. I got 3 like that (out of roundness is what they called). My mechanic tried to balance them using weights & it lasted for 1.5 years. Now, I'm having the vibrations again. Will have to replace all 4 wheels & new tires soon.

its recommended to balance your wheels every 5k if you put new tires and then every 10-15k

Ended up being the rear brakes! New rotors and pads completely solved the problem!

Thats where I was going with it. Usually if you feel it in the steering wheel its the front brakes, but if the whole car shakes, its the rear.
