Fog/Driving Lights out

I wanted to know, do you guys know what fuse to check for the running lights on my cl, i was walking up to the car tday and noticed that neither of em were lit up and headlights are on so my first guess is a fuse since i dont think both would go out like that.

Your bulbs are out. There is no fuse or switch or anything like that. Common.

From what I remember there are 2 wires. Get out a test light or multi meter & see if you have power & ground at the connectors.

Ill give the multimeter a try tomorrow and see what happens if nothing ill try to find them in the loom and see where they lead to and check that, and if all is ok im going to buy the 03 vents and paint them satin silver, i wanted to do that anyway but not till when it gets hot out, now i have a reason to get em, i found em for 29 shipped, when i called the dealership i always go to, they told me it was 27 a piece........yeah, right

well i cant sleep so i went into the garage and pulled out that light, checked it with a multimeter and yes it is getting power with the lights on and it loses it when they are off. Whats weird is the filament on the bulb is fine and still in one piece so why it doesnt work is amystery i cant solve, HID led's are on the way, lets see what happens with these i guess

Yeah, they light up pretty nice looking, my entire interior is now this icy ble color. I cant stand coffee stain, the only thing that hasnt changed is the nav unit and thats because i didnt have the patience to disassble it at the time, i have a feeling those bulbs will need soldering.

Ok...the wording HID is throwing me off.

When I think of HID's I think of our Head lights and we know that LED's can't be HID.

Ok...that sounds better.

I never had problems with my headlights.

I just have looked at these LED websites a bunch of times now and just getting familiar with what's available on the market.

Yeah, if you are looking to do your dash a different color at night you're going to have to buy them from hong kong or australia b/c nobody here in the states sells those stupid neo-wedge style bulbs, seriously they are a PITA. I ran out of them so my doors and gear shifter lights are still the same

Oh yeah, those guys. I just ordered 16 neo-leds for 20$ shipped. For those guy's kits to do my dash I would be looking at somewhere like 60-80$.

Yeah...there is a convenience element to their products.

I'm willing to pay more because my wiring, soldering skills are no good.

I got other products to finish first but I already bought another cluster to work on.

The ones i linked you to come as one piece, no solder neccesary, and as far as your gauge cluster its a simple 74 wedge that you gotta instal. The one thing I do hate about our cars is the filters they build in to the buttons and gauges, that green color, Ive tried to seperate them and its damn near impossible. Because of those filters the LED's dont look as vibrant and still seem dim, my other car was almost blinding if i set it at max.
