Engine overheats..need help ASAP

Last week while driving back from work, I saw antifreez coming out of my hood. Took it to a shop the next day, they changed the thermostat, still same problem. There is no leak in the radiator. The antifreez is coming out of the white plastic container that holds the extra antifreez. I can see the presser it builds up in that plastic container. Do you guys have any clue about whats going on with my car? If you do, please let me know. I really appreciate your help. Thanks. By the way, its a 2001 regular Cl.

Have your antifreeze tested for CO2. In realy bad case you can smell exhaust fumes in reservoir tank. What happens is the exhaust gets pushed through head gasket and creates air pockets in cooling system causing temperature going up and pressure build up that pushes out antifreeze to reservoir tank. This means BHG. Blown head gasket

Is the car overheating-temp guage higer than it should be or are you just seeing coolant coming out of the over flow bottle?

How badly did the car overheat with both fans bad? You may have done some irreversable damage already.

Check for oil or CO2 in the white overflow container as previous post suggests. If so, the HG is gone.

The same thing happened to me but it was only my main radiator fan. I was gonna pay for the whole assembly but I got away with just replacing the motor for the radiator fan. It came out a whole lot cheaper.
