So I drove upstate last weekend and my car went insane. Twice on the way there the whole electronic system turned off (navi, lights, gauges dropped, radio) and went right back on so fast that it seems like it just restarts. Then yesterday it happened again but when i pulled up to my destination, my doors wouldn't unlock for a second. I thought originally maybe it was my battery but that doesnt have anything to do with my door locks. So now maybe im thinking wires? Anyone have any idea? Help is appreciated!

 

A low charge battery will do this on our car. Pull it out & get it tested.

The stock battery only lasts 3 years on average. So if you never replaced it you should.

 

Maybe it's your actuator...

i d rather say it positive terminal wire rusted through. it happened for couple of guys before with similar symptoms

 

I brought my car to Acura and they said that it was a battery wire that was painted over, they chipped off the paint and everything seems fine. Maybe it wasnt a low battery charge...
