Every time I put my foot into it , between 3k and 4k the e-brake light comes on. Its only been doing it for a few days. It doesn't seem to have an effect on anything but its kinda weird. Any ideas on how to fix it would be great.

Have you checked how much fluid you have in the reservoir?

 

Does anyone REALLY KNOW FOR SURE....is it really necessary to change all the brake fluid as stated in service manual????

I wouldn't follow the service manual if I were you...

 

First, try to take the cap off and jiggle the sensor a little bit. If that doesn't help, I'd flush the brake fluid.
