E Brake Light

The past couple weeks the red brake light has been coming on when I start the car. I rarelly use the e-brake so I have no idea wht its coming on. I have to drive about 50ft then turn off the car & turn it back to get it to turn off sometimes I have to do that 3-4 times. Does anyone on here know why this is happening?

Is your brake fluid low? Or the brake fluid sensor could be broken. Pretty common on Honda's. It's attached to the brake fluid reservoir or the cap.

I actually get that brake light when its cold. Even though my brake fluid is not low. Like the other day, it got below freezing at night, and that morning driving to school it was on. It went away after 10 or 15 minutes. Happens every year to me.

Bingo. My 1st gen does this, I`m really not worried about it. My neighbor`s accord is doing the same thing. Seems like a typical Honda problem.
