coolant

just got my 99 3.0cl a few weeks ago and without knowing any better i put in a bout a 1/4 to a 1/2 gallon of standard coolant in it. i know that it is not good for the water pump, but i am going to do the timing belt/water pump change in about a month. will it be ok untill then or should i drain it and pay for all new coolant when im going to have to drain it and fill it again in a month anyways?

thanks in advance
