How does the car idle? Does it surge or idle really low like it's about to die? If not, it's probably okay. If it idles weird, then you can replace it. You wouldn't be the first on this board.

If you do need to replace it, it's just a part, not the whole throttle body. You can pick one up at your local Acura dealer and give the part to your mechanic to change if you feel he's shady. Or better yet, get a new mechanic if it comes down to it.

Hello Again Experts,
Today while I was driving on the highway, i try to accelerate from 55-60MPH and I feel a sudden SHAKE/VIBRATION while accelerating as if some hesitation, I quickly take my foot of the gas pedal and try accelerating again and its not there. But sometimes its there? I dont know man if its the transmission or some axles, I mean suspension wise my car is fit.
Please suggest experts.
