Coin box will not close.

Hi, I am new to this forum business, but I was wondering if i could get some help. I have 2002 3.2cl-S, and my coin box seems to be jammed. I think there is something behind it or on the side of it. Has this happened to anyone else? If so how did you fix it, or how do you take the coin box out?

I got it to close, Removed the emission's port cover, and removed the screw that became visible. There were two quarters stuck on the left side that took some prying to get out, and a half dollar stuck on the right. I could not get the half dollar out, but the coin box will close completely now.

I went to local Acura, and he explained a mind boggling proceedure of removing the Auto-trans consle, and the bottom half of the Navi facia.........I was looking to change the lightbulb.....but also needed to clean the coin tray......Aaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!! or $250 for them to do it.

not that hard especially if you know how to use a screwdriver; look under the diy to see how to do it, especially for how to replace the radio,; just don't do the radio (same basic procedure)
