well today i was driving, everything was fine..

I was at a parking lot, car was on just sitting in park turned on while I was getting warmed up, then drove off, and the check engine light came on, and the VSA light came on.

Sometimes the VSA goes off, and sometimes the check engine light flashes.

At rest, the car seems to shake a bit..

I am about 600 miles over my oil change which I have an appointment to get changed tommorow, but can that be it or would this be another problem?

 

also drove the car back fine, transmission shifted ok

 

This happened to me also but this was not because of my transmission. It turned out to be 2 bad fuel injectors, one bad spark plug coil. All my lights turned on and my car was driving like SHAT.

 

Get the CEL code read ASAP and report back.

Periodically my car does that (low idle, CEL, VSA and /!\) and it even stalls out. Pulled the codes and its 3rd and 4th gear pressure switches.
