CD Player Problem

I bought a used 2001 CL. When I load a cd into the player I get a ErEO error code. Could someone tell me what the problem may be. Thanks

The same thing happened to my 2001 CL it is just jammed or something i took mine to a dealer and they just took it out and replaced the whole unit. I also had CD's in the old one and they would not eject. They had to RTV that one and wait for the factory to take it apart and send my CD's back it took about 2 months to get them back

cd problem

I don't think there are any stuck cd's in the unit. I can load cd's but get the error message when one tries to play.

oh okay when you load CD's in can you also eject them? Because i couldnt. It sounds like they just arent reading them correctly.

cd problems

It gives the error message then automatically ejects the cd (if you only load one). If you continue to load cd's it will take them, then give the error message then eject. You can eject all of the cd's you load.

I have a 2003 3.2 TL doing the same thing. Did you ever find the solution? What does ErE0 means? I was playing burned CDs too and all of the sudden is coming out with the ErE0 error with the same malfunctions you described almost two years ago.

What up?

you can get them for 150 on ebay. i fixed couple of units already and problem lays in very fragile cd tray system - trays jump off tracks or get misaligned

I'm having the similar problem with my CL and dont know how to make the CD changer work. I got an emailed offer from a guy on ebay stripping a damaged CL for parts and he wanted $300 for the stereo. Other than that, I havent been able to find ANY stereos, especially for $150!

It can very possibly be that the lens need cleaning inside the deck. Go to a local cd store and buy a lens cleaner. insert in in the deck n problem should be fixed. it worked for me!

sometimes i have cd's get stuck when ejecting from the bose cd player. i have figured out that if you use something very slim, like a drivers license and you wedge it in between the CD and the mouth of the player and push cd up or down or both, it will free up and come out, or go all the way in. the key is realizing its happening and reacting to it before the error code.
