Brake noise with new rotors
I replaced all the rotors with drilled and slotted and new pads with rebuilt calipers. Now I get a low frequency noise when applying the brakes along with a slight shudder. The front rotors were replaced under warranty but I still get the same type of sound and vibration, but not as severe. It is not like a warped rotor vibration, since it occurs at low speed as I come to a stop. It is more like a harmonic sound and shudder.
Any ideas?

My dealer just found a pebble inbeded in my front right brake pad ... bet it came from a street that just spread gravel on for chip seal.

It is a brake pad material formulation. Hard brake pads (some ceramics) happen to jump on the rotor with usually slight braking power. I bet when you press harder it will not happen. Get some soft pads - like crappy 20 dollar ones. The question is what you are not going to like more, slight stutter with braking or dusted rims

yea i was having the same problem n i was confused lik wtf is going on... but i remember that i read about some slotted an drilled rotors a min ago n the said that the holes make a noise so they had two choices of rotors to put on the car. which after that it made since. idk if thats wat your refering to? but ill go wit celynka sayin having good pads is worth having to so you wont get all that dust and that last longer.
(this is wat it said)
"One point to consider before making your choice of sport rotor is the air noise that can be noticed with sport rotors. With all slotted rotors there will be an increase in air noise as the rotor passes beneath the pads under normal driving and braking. Some people like this kind of "Turbo" sound and others do not."

I was going to try different pads. The rotors and pads were purchased from Brake Performance, these are premium semi metallic pads. I stay away from ceramic pads. I've always used stock Acura pads with good results, long lasting and very low dust. Thanks for the input on the noise expectations.
