Exclamation Big F*#king problem

So I put my rims on yesterday, Everything was fine I raised the car a lil in the rear just to give myself peace of mind because I went with a 19x8" with +45 offset. So all was good untill tonight. I was on the highway and when I would hit like a dip where the car would slouch then come back up the left rear wheel was rubbing. At first I was like damn im gonna have too roll the fenders or raise the car more. I stopped at a local 24 hr car wash because the lighting is good there pulled into a wash bay and really studied the setup to see what the problem was. I noticed the left rear wheel sticks out more than all the other wheels and this is what is causing the rubbing issue. Now I have the task of trying to find out why. Is the offset or size on that one wheel different than the other three? Is there a problem with the rear left knuckle and hub assembly? or what else could be the problem? I had the right rear knuckle replaced a week ago as well as the right rear hub assembly. I also had a full alignment front and rear and rear camber kits installed. There was no problem when the stockies were on or was there a slight problem I just never noticed? These are the things I need to go through one by one over the next day or so and hopefully come out with the cheapest solution. I would think if the problem was suspension or suspension componet related the mechanic working on the alignment would have noticed when going over all the parts correct? Well any help or light you guys can shine on my problem would be appreciated. Thanks.

measure the back spacing, take two tires off and lay them on the ground, take a straight edge and measure from the straight edge to the mount were the rim hits the rotor like this.

then do equation offset = backspace - (rim width / 2)

Couple of simple things you can do.

Do all the wheels have the same offset?

1 - Remove the wheel in question and look on the inside of the rim for the offset stamp. In your case you should see the number 45 with a circle around it. If not, that's your problem.

2 - Try swapping one of the other rims with the one in the rear. Does the other wheel stick out too? If so, the problem is with the axle, hub, suspension....

Well guys I seem to have gotten to the bottom of the problem. The problem is I need to roll the fenders or raise the car, Simple as that. The reason I was thinking that the rear stuck out on one side is the way I was parked in the bay I guess. I went out today in the daylight with my trusty tape measure and all the measurments are the same. The reason the drivers side only was rubbing is im guessing my lard ass. The wheels are all the same and they all fit the same. So now my next job is rolling the fenders and dropping the rear back down. I have already checked everything out and as long as I roll the rear I can slm her again. Im so glad it was just my eyes playing tricks instead of a real serious problem. As for the rolling i did this on my TL and had good results so wish me luck and ill post the results with some more pics once she is all slammed again. The headers go on this week so I will also be at the track on wednesday and run her a few times if not wednesday friday at the latest. Of course the rims will be off and back to stockies for that. Thanks for all the help guys as usual.

I'm glad you fixed the problem. I figured the rear would rub. I don't know why a lot of people are saying they are running 19x8 with +45 offset and not rubbing. Then again, it's probably those with a conservative drop. On my 18x8 with +50 offset I barely have enough clearance but its perfect.

Hey Red,

Can you show pictures of the roll?

Mine are shaved, so I still have a little bit |_ of fender left in there. I'm probably going to roll so that there's no more.
