Bent Rim!!!!!!!!!!

I just put some 18" black alloytech wheels on my TW CLS. I was drviing down the NJ Turnpike and couldnt avoid a pothole. rim is bent and im ********* pissed. Any ideas?? know of anyone in NY, NJ, CT than can bend them back????thanks

alloytech thats why i had a set, the cheap way i used is a big ass hammer, better to look like you have curb rash then to have a bent rim.. there are places like in cali where you send your rim and they will fix it for you and ship them back search google.. i also used a heat gun with tire off ofcourse, someone else might know a more conservative way of fixing a bent rim but thats what i did

u think the pothole knocked my alighment and everything out of whack?

There's a guy here in hallandale, FL that repairs and repaints the wheels for a decent price. I was quoted 125 a wheel for my dubs. I can't vouche for him though a I haven't had the time to get them done. Wheel-R-Us is the name of the place and the guys name is louey (sp).

Those guys are good I had some rims fixed there and some other places were either more than double the price or saying they couldn't fix it at all. But since your on the east coast it might just be easier to buy another rim.

do you happen to have a Phone #, website or address? my friend just bent the hell of the lip on one of his rims and hallandale isnt too far from ethier of us.
