please diagnose my cl-p

my car has 55k miles with oil change at 52k with mobil 1 syn. most recent mods: spc camber kit, alignment, tires. when i drive at a constant speed at say 40mph, and let off the gas, my car hesitates, and gives me a laggy feeling, like it lugged for a bit. yesterday, my car was on in neutral, and the idle was going up and down from 1.5 to 2k. when i turn off my car, my whole car shudders quite a bit. and i also noticed at around 40-45mph at constant speed, my car doesn't shift into 5th as fast as it used to. it tends to linger at around 2k. and that's after my car is all warmed up. with the idling all messed up, i thought a vacuum line was leaking or disconnected, but i checked and hasn't done that since yesterday. now i'm thinking it's my tranny. i'm on my second tranny too. anyone experience this too?

Could be a tank of bad gas; I'd try some techron.

That symptom is most definitely the idle air control valve. Do a search on the TL forum for remedies.

i'll try spraying some chemtool in the tb while it's on, then if that does work, take it off and clean it. then ultimately if nothing works, replacement...

so i've decided to try that gumout intake cleaner stuff since i couldn't find out if the tb had a special coating in it or not. should i just disconnect the cai and shoot it in there while it's off and let it dry? or pull the tb off and then spray it? or due the first choice and see if i require the second choice?

and does spraying that stuff in the tb and letting it dry, but possibly not completely drying mess up the car?

turn it off and spray it. no need to remove the tb.. however to clean out the iac you need to remove it. and since its already removed replacing it would be your best option.
