An air horn is better. I have a air horn in mine hooked into the horn switch. I honk the horn the air horn sounds.( I can turn the unit off & just have a regular horn too)
The 100w speaker is mounted just below the bumper support bar. I have a Sho-me hidden air horn unit(think the police siren thing but only a air horn output) mounted in the glove box.

Why? I just like to piss people off sometimes in traffic for being dumb. Although I rarely do use it in reality.

To the flamers, sorry to offend you.

To the ones who can respect where I am coming from, thanks for your input.

@fuzzy02CLS: Thanks for explaining your setup. Without doing any extra work, do you already have pictures of your install online already so I can check them out. Also, I have yet to find what differences there are between an air horn and a train horn... I honestly though both were the same. Also... when I go to buy one, what specs do you suggest? Thanks.

A train horn makes you sound like a train.

Well the train horn I think it the louder one. From what I have seen on u tube anyway. The air horn is just an air horn. Pretty much what a cop car or ambulance sounds like when they use their air horn.
I don't have pics any longer. Not much to see. Just a speaker mounted right under the bumper support, & a small electrical box in the glove box with some wires.
Look up the sho-me units you'll see what I mean.

If it has a speaker, its not an air horn. Its a siren. I had an air horn on my Civic. It had a small pump connected to two horns. It was loud, but it wasnt train horn loud. Train horns run higher PSI out of a larger compressor and larger horns.

Siren (without control box):

Air horn:

It's an electric air horn. A siren it is not, that would have hi low tones in some sort of pattern. While the same system is used in sirens there are units that only have the air horn sound.
