You shouldn't have to bump up the amps to get it not to blow. Have you done anything electrical to your car prior to this issue arising?

Be careful trying a larger fuse, sometimes a fire breaks out.

well the dealership told me that they would have to check the elctrical and do advanced diagnostics. I have come to the concusion that it blows when the vsa kicks in....and it seems to be geered more towards the passenger side wheel losing traction than the drivers side...........maybe a speed sensor.....im at a loss!

If you feel that fuse gets lown when pump actuates it seems like faulty pump . No electronics draw 30A so definately it is not a sensor or abs/vsa ecm.

Well an acura tech told me that my abs pump motor...while working is drawing way too much power. I'm gonna assume that it's failing.....anyone experience this before?

Never heard of pump failing but that is the only thing that can draw over 30A. If you will be looking for a used pump let me know

depending on the type of motor used to run the ABS pump, if it's not starting correctly, it can draw and absurdly high amt of current, which in turn will blow the fuse at the moment the ABS pump and motor activates. there's really nothing else in that ABS circuit that could draw anywhere near 30amps. however, a DC motor that's not starting correctly could. in which case, your only option, pretty much, is to replace the motor, or the entire pump assembly if it's a one-piece unit.
