Just to conclude with my story of the valve job. I wrote Honda Canada a letter outlining the problems with the dealership etc. Soon after, I received a call from the dealership to have a meeting. At the meeting they claimed that I drove the vehicle over the red line and that could have caused the bent valves. I denied that and said that it was the timing belt. They denied that opinion. In any case we came to an agreement that they would give me a credit at the dealership for half the cost I incurred to have the valve job done. Other than that I'd have to go to court. I'm now thinking that I'm going to trade the vehicle back to them and use the credit to help pay for another car.
