exhaust help

Hello, hope somebody can help me out.
The exhaust system of my 2001 CL 3.2 type S was removed from under the engine. There are no exhaust regulationsin my country (Panama). Can I eliminate the use of cat converter and the rear oxygen sensor (after cat)?. If so, will that send problem codes to the ECM?

more than likely you're check engine light will kick on. I had a friend who gutted out his cat and the check engine light kicked on. No problems though.

Thanks for your helpfull comment... don't you think that an error signal from the ECM (a wrong oxygen reading) will trigger a bad mixture ratio or idle speed? Maybe the ECM can be configured someway to avoid this? I really will appreciate any help tht I can get. Thanks again!
