ok, so i did a QUICK search and didnt come across anything. i have a 2001 CL-P and purchased 2003 taillights. get em out and swap the bulbs in...but...the drive side inner brake light doesnt work. nor do either turn signals. there is also a very small square sized empty female receptor that looks like somethin should hook into it but there arent any left from my current harness. ive tried swappin out new bulbs and whatnot but i cant figure it out. this should be an easy fix. so anyone who has done the 2001 to 2003 taillight swap please chime in with a DIY or maybe a link to this quick project. thanks fellas i appoligize if theres already a bunch of threads on this but i did a quick search and didnt feel like lookin forever for one.

 

everything should be a direct fit except for the turn signals. which require you to buy a socket that fits the 03 housing from the acura dealership. if it's not lighting up you should check your fuses.

 

went to the dealership and they had no idea what i was talkin about after tryin to explain it to them numerous times. do u have a part number by chance? could i just hard wire the wires from the old harness to the wires on the new housing? in other words not needing this socket ur talkin about...

the part # you need is 33503-s3m-a11 from an ACURA dealership. honda dealerships don't carry this part. when you get it it should fit right into the tail lamp and your existing plug that went into socket II should fit directly with the new socket
